Your PDA screen is one of the most important parts of your PDA. Not only does it provide you with a visual interface. This is also now popularly used as the control interface of PDAs via touch screen controls. Thus, maintaining your PDA screen is of utmost importance.
Use a soft or hard case for your PDA that will protect the screen.
Using a case, be it hard or soft, for your PDA can help maintain its screen. This protects it from abrasive surfaces. At the same time, your PDA’s case can be decorative and add to the appeal of your PDA.
Use a screen protevtor to avoid finger prints.
You can also use a screen protector for your PDA’s screen. A screen protector is a transparent thin film of plastic that shields your screen from direct contact. The film is thin enough to enable touch screen functions.
Don't press on the PDA screen too hard.
Of course, you also shouldn’t press on your PDA screen too hard. These are LCD screens, which can get damaged when applied with too much pressure.

PDAs have the potential to be useful for a long time. The tricky part is getting the same lifespan from the PDA batteries. And, like it or not, these PDA batteries may be the most abused part of your personal digital assistant. Here are some tips for lengthening the lifespan of your PDA batteries:
Totally discharge your PDA battery.
It is good practice to fully discharge your PDA battery right after buying it off the store. At this point, your battery has only been factory-charged. Fully discharge it before doing a full charge at home. Make sure to keep an eye on your PDA and unplug it as soon as it’s charged.
Do not leave your PDA battery plugged in for too long.
Try not to leave your PDA battery plugged in long after it’s been fully charged. This can overload your PDA battery, and shorten its expected lifespan.
Check the requirements for the type of PDA battery you use.
Lastly, be sure of the charging requirements of your PDA battery. Sometimes, you might unknowingly plug your personal digital assistant to a higher power surge. This can short your batteries and render your PDA useless.

I had earned the habit of browsing through Xbox game review sites to keep myself updated. I also peruse the magazine back issues. One time I actually spent the entire afternoon reading raves for the latest PSP and Xbox mags - and it's how I probably earned the reputation for being "sick". It's a term someone used for a Tony Hawk fanatic who can finish the game in 8 hours (or was I talking about Halo II?). It's the equivalent of being a pro to the point of insanity.

I've probably digressed too far. But what I'm pointing at here is the Dell Axim X5 PDA. I'm labeled "sick" by merely buying it. I probably am, because the excellent features would have kept me awake for three nights in a row. Until someone told me to stop, and I kept on punching the keys. Learning to navigate Dell Axim X5 PDA won't take forever, but enjoying the features probably will. Someone said it's a workhorse that knows luxury -- what an apt phrase! Dell Axim X5 PDA has utterly incomparable amount of memory that it can support both SD and CF.

This new handheld from Dell comes equipped with Pocket Word, Pocket Excel, contacts, calendar, voice recorder, and a host of built-in "devices". It has 64MB SDRAM and 48MB Intel StrataFlash ROM. A pretty fast processor running at 400MHz, it also has a really long battery life. The card slots allow for the infinite expansion. I can't even spot a flaw in it. As soon as the original battery is used up, I'd replace it with the rechargeable one. Whew...can you guess how sickening this is to a gadget freak like me?

No matter what they say, PDA is still the product of man's pre-emptive brilliance. Remember how we used to taunt Galileo's theory and the scientist's inventions of automoblie and telephone until the future came to vindicate our ancestor's prejudicial folly. PDA sets the trend for business communication because it's Personal, Dependable and Acessible.

I've been hanging on to my job for a while, and somewhat craving for that lift. I knew I can replace my boss, but there hasn't been a crack for me to move up. Until the last three months, the top dog announced his retirement. Although there hasn't been a formal assignment, I knew he was grooming me to replace his throne (at long last!). So just a few weeks ago, I flew to Italy to represent him in a very important presentation (more like deliberation on fussy figures).
I came the last minute without an assistant, just a day before the business rumple. On an impressive suit, I labored in checking every details before I pushed open the door into the conference table. There were the friendly Italians and the stern British delegates.
I passed on a 20- page report to all the 10 delegates. Everybody had their piece but me. At first I held on to my breath and continued with fawning and sham admiration in my introduction. It's too late to back out, to rush to my car and get my precious piece of folder. Then I saw my Casio Cassiopeia E-125 hanging tight on my belt. I took it from its cover and run on its applications containing my reports. They were surprised at first, but I moved on fluently, handling the gizmo like a master. Thank heavens it has a diversified and expanded memory that I was able to flip from one to the other. The colorful screen made it easy from my tensed nerves to focus and see clearly.
I finished off the report, saying "That while there are unpredictable times of headless blunders and stupid business recks, like my PDA, you will be assured that there will always be a system to back you up...". And I got the deal! With its zippy processor and Type II CompactFlash cards access and reliability, it's a little expensive but still a worthy price to pay for a hitched promotion. My PDA saved my business life!

A Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), or a Smart Digital Assistant (SDA) for you? Today, you can have both. I believe that innovations in PDAs and mobile phones have been the focus of most handheld manufacturers. And why? Generally, people have no satisfaction. We always want the latest, the coolest, and the most effective thing in the world. That's why, even mobile phones create its own advancement. This time, it's the T-mobile SDA marks its place in the market. This modern unit stands out among other high-technology, high-quality handhelds. It's more than a phone. It's very smart that the functions are excellent.
This is a very cool cell phone unit. This SDA is packed with superior features. It almost has everything you need from a PDA or cellphone. It's Wi-fi feature makes this cellphone more incredible. Windows Mobile feature adds to the power of this unit. You can also enjoy its multi-media feature. More so, you don't need to use your PC or laptop just to check your email. Your Inbox is accessible through this SDA. You can also check your files, and you can still make a clear call. It's also small; you can easily place it in your pocket. However, I noticed that it has small keys. But it's not a big deal.

Life is never hard with Palm. Palm handhelds make things easier. You can store household tips or your clients' contact numbers. You can jot down important notes or play your favorite game. These and more are what you can get with your PDA Palm unit. Palm has been innovative when it comes to small gadgets. It's powerful enough to keep your appointments in a safer place. Just like a Palm Treo 700w. It's a powerful PDA that can fit in your pocket. This smartphone provides all you want from a single PDA. That's why Palm is a leader in high-quality handheld units
It's fast as broadband and smarter than any PDA phone. It has several media features, too. You can contact people in many ways with 700w; through voice, electronic mail (e-mail), SMS, and even MMS3. In today's modern world, the demand for communication gadgets are increasing every year. Ever since the first commercial telephone was created, people have been developing other communication devices to give more convenience to the users. As far as I know, people have everything when it comes to communication. And one of the latest innovations is the coming of PDA in the cellphone, or the PDA phone.
There is a lot of these phones in the market. One of this is the Motorola MPx220. It runs with Windows Mobile Smartphone 2003; and it has Bluetooth and camera features, too. The size, screen color, quality of sound, organizers, and other features that are not available in other cell phones are in this unit.
However, nothing is perfect in this world. Since everything comes with a flaw, the Motorola MPx220 can't also please everybody. It is because, some users say that this handheld unit has a poor speaker volume. Others say that it is not as thin as other modern cell phone brands. Nevertheless, it has many features that the user will definitely enjoy.

The idea of having a personal computer and a mobile phone in one device that literally fits the palm of the hand is the driving force that pushes manufacturers to develop, create, and recreate their PDAs. Personal digital assistants swarm the telecommunications market, and have no yet failed making to top of the list of most sought and bought products. One thing that really attracts buyers to purchase these tiny computers is their ability to perform just anything at the fastest pace. Wireless connection with the rest of the world is the reason behind the fame of PDAs.
Now, here is something to look at to. Aside from its tricky, yet stylish design, this PDA is sure to create a mark in the market. It is called the Hermes. As the name implies, the Hermes is swift, minus the wings. It is not your ordinary Bluetooth-capable phone. It has more distinct soft-touch buttons. You will not be limited to taking good pictures, but video recording as well. The Hermes has been already hailed as one of the smartest PDA. It is due to be released some time in May.

The Blackberry 6230 is just like a PDA gadget in the sense that it has many advanced technological features. One of my favorite phones is the Blackberry 6230. I think I saw this in a big screen movie and I could not forget it. I just thought that it was so pretty to look at. It seems to me like it is a laptop computer made much smaller.
In order to learn more about this portable gadget, I searched for it on the internet. I found out that it only weighs 136 grams; it is not that heavy and not that light. Its primary function is a hi-tech cellular phone complete with phonebooks and call records. Even though it has no camera, it has other features such as organizer, calculator, and internet functions.
Even when you are on the road, you can easily send important email messages to you colleagues, friends, and families. It is really a good way to stay connected with people in your life. With the Blackberry 6230, you can keep in touch through text messages, calls, and emails. This is definitely the gadget to bring when you are the type of person who is always on the road.

Just by looking at the Psion Revo, you may want to purchase it right away. I can't really blame you because that was what I felt when I saw this new hi-tech gadget. The first thing that really attracted me to it is the high class keyboard, that is in the right size.
It's not too big and not to small for me. Aside from that, it also has the best PDA processor and closing mechanism on the market. The only problem I had with this is the short life of the battery. Despite that, it is still a good buy for any person.

What's so nice about Palm Tungsten T5? It can work as a USB removable drive. Great isn't it? You can work your presentations in any laptop or desktop computer, transfer it to your Personal Digital Assistant, and you are good to go.
All your input and data can be saved even if the runs out of power because it is in flash memory. If you, almost all the time, work outside the office, this is the best digital assistant for you.

When looking for a perfect PDA, you should apply the same principles you have when looking for a man to hook up with. A PDA should be sleek and simple, a man should be too. It should give you what you need and is always ready in times of emergencies, same with men.
Men should intellectually entice you. Your PDA should have puzzle or word games. Men should follow your every whim. PDAs don't talk back.
So if you can't get a man with the right specifications, at least you'll always have your PDA.

I can't live without digital assistance. With the life I'm living right now, losing (or forgetting at home) my Personal Digital Asistant gadget would mean chaos and disaster to my whole week.
I am a forgetful person, you see. Without my PDA gadget, I wouldn't know when to meet my editor or when the next article deadline would be or where the next launch party is. A whole week of making up for loss meetings, articles and parties would mean prolonged work hours and no unwinding. And you know what happened to Jack who was 'all work and no play.'

As expected, Palm TX has been gaining raves from the circles in the gadget world. The Palm TX is a new generation personal digital assistant packed with amazing features. Through the Palm TX, users can browse the internet and get the latest buzz around the world.

What could be a more appropriate nickname for your personal digital assistant than Sidekick? T-Mobile Sidekick is a PDA that allows you to surf the net, send and receive e-mail, make phone calls and keep your appointments. If you're a super-workaholic then you need a Sidekick. It's always ready, and it only takes minutes to process all system features in your desktop computer. With thumb accessible controls and a QWERTY keypad, it very easy to get used to. The only downside is the monochromatic screen. But hey, it's a Sidekick, not a cartoon hero. All in all, this PDA is a good purchase.
